Eggs over easy

So, our house got egged on Sunday night. Jackie's car got hit and the front porch. I had wanted to think it was random. I went to work at Panera yesterday and my friend was like 'did something happen to your house on Sunday?' I was like 'yes who did it?' The stupid bitches that fool around all the time and get away with everything, who we have all had a problem with. They just got out of high school. Well I've said stuff because I've been a manager before and it's bullshit, well their little immature minds thought it would be a good idea to egg our house. Alyse told my friend because she was drunk and didn't know she was friends with me. I went to our GM because I am just not going to take it, it is stupid. Now there is going to be a hostile work environment. So I told the GM and she was like what the hell. She called the Dist. Man. to see if anything could be done because it didn't happen on panera property. He came in and we talked and he said that he thinks that nothing could be done, except to talk to them and threaten them with the police. I think that might make it worse. I think I'll just transfer panera's which I wanted to do a while ago. 2 of my friends work at the Grosse Pointe one. It would be fine. Of course my GM doesn't want to lose me but if I wanted to do that she said she wouldn't hold me back. I was so frustrated I was shaking. The nerve of those fucking little punks. Obviously I wouldn't do any damage to their property but does anyone have any suggestions?

Besides that I'm looking forward to the weekend. Friday we are going to East Lansing because Saturday is the first football game. Yay! Then I'm suppose to work sunday and monday. I'm trying to switch so that I can go to Buffalo but I know how easy that is. Although I know if I went to Buffalo I would be so exhausted...anyways I'm going to go. I'm really tired today but I don't have to work tonight. I have to mow the lawn.
At least I'll be home...

2 hours later.....

So I went to my car and took a car nap for 30 minutes. I feel more rested now. I think I can face the rest of the day. My manager has not talked to me since this morning. I've learned that I can't really be friends with them if they are my manager here. Too bad, we used to have fun.

Eck

I pretty much want to cry right now. Probably because I am tired and like a little kid when I get tired. And pretty upset at work. I'm working like 4, 16 hour days in a row and I wanted to wfh 1 day this week and it was denied. Something they could give for free to keep morale up. But no. I am going to go and apply for loans next week for trying to get the internship. And I have to apply for the internship. So I have to start that process. I just can't take this place anymore, the monotony is killing me. The lack of raises, making not much more than when I started 6.5 years ago. I hope that it works out.

Sierra Turkey

And the annoying customer of the day goes to.....Mark. He came in with 2 kids and his wife? He said 'I want a 1/2 sierra and broccoli cheddar'. Then he stopped talking, I was like 'is that it?' He made it seem like that was it, then he was like 'so you got 2 Sierras and 2 broccoli cheddars.' I'm like um no! You didn't say that! So then he was like 'ya I want 2 sierras and a 1/2 sierra with 2 bowls of broccoli cheddar.' So I ring it in. I repeated it: 'So you want 2 1/2 Sierra turkeys and 2 bowls of Broccoli'. 'Yes' he said.
3 minutes later he comes back with his bag of food. 'I only wanted 1 full sierra and a 1/2.' WTF! His wife chimed in too. I was like 'ya that is why I repeated it.'
Grr whatever! So we did a refund and he tried to give the sandwich back, our manager was like no we don't want that back. Now he probably thinks he can do that all the time to get a free sandwich. That was really the only annoying thing. Besides my feet hurting so bad. And we had people that all knew how to do their jobs so I only had to my stuff last night.
Our new manager is alright. I can get along with pretty much everyone, except Nard, but the new guy let us have our checks when we left last night so that was helpful and I can take it today before checks bounce! I was told by Nate to stop being 'manager Sarah' just because well I guess I do things right and all I said was to tie up the cheese and chicken salad and he didn't want to. It was retarded. We have a bread bash coming up, those are always oh so boring. And on a Sunday night...
My legs ached last night when I got in bed. I was uncomfortable. I just have to make it to Friday and then I can lay around the condo for the weekend.

Chicken town

Well the trip with my sisters and mom was fun. Friday I got up at 9 and walked Duke. Then I left at about 10:30. Danielle and my mom had been up and started shopping at Birch Run at 10am, by the time I got there at noon they were on a roll. Spending hundreds of dollars! The first night we stayed at the hotel right next to birch run. We shopped until 4 and then went and swam, then Anna got there and we went back shopping. Anna and Danielle both got suits for $50! We had a coupon for almost every store. I got a pair of work pants and a nice sweater for $35. I was very excited. Then I got a pair of black/pink Nike's. Also excited. We ate at Uno's twice that day, it was ok because they have a big menu. Our waiter at night overcharged us $10 but he caught it. So overall I think Danielle and my mom shopped for like 11 hours that day. Crazy! Saturday morning we woke up and went back to B.R. for a few things. We ate turkey sandwiches for lunch and then went to check in to Splash Village. It was a really nice room. They had a fireplace, 2 tvs, couch, fridge, microwave.. We walked to Bronners for like an hour and decided that we wanted to go eat the chicken dinner. We went to Bavarian at 4. I'm glad we went early because we avoided the long line. Even if we were with all the bagels.. The waiter was so slowwww. Anna and Danielle got the beer samplers and I got a Mojito, it was good. Then we stuffed ourselves on chicken and walked around the scary gift shop with a bunch of junk. When they have a section filled with stuff for the 'Red hat club' that is when you know you are done.

We went back to the hotel and ventured in to the water park. They had 2 cool slides that we went on. They had a double tube so we went on those a few times too. I got hit with this gigantic bucket of water. I'm talking the size of a car, which it is at the ceiling and it fills slowly then a bell starts ringing before it dumps. Well I didn't know what was going on, all of a sudden splash, totally drenched.
Then we went to the other pool and in the sauna.

Then we had drinks. They drank wine and I drank Captain's. We were watching tv and I fell asleep at like 11. We went in to town on Sunday for a little bit. Then I had to drive home and work. My feet and legs did NOT get rested on this trip since we were walking around all day! And now I have to work 5 days in a row at Panera. Fun. I did not want to get up today. My bed felt so comfortable. So that was the weekend. It was really nice and my mom is great.

Get up

Oh how my legs are sore. Probably from standing 5 out of 6 days and then on the other day doing all that yard work. Arg. I feel like I am old or that I shouldn't feel this way! I am so bored here! I have been doing stuff but it is just so boring to me.
So I really want to apply for an internship. There is one that I want to at Harper Hospital which costs $1500. I would start in January. Problem: I would need $15,000 to pay my bills for a year. I am going to go up to Madonna and see if I can get a loan. I would quit EDS because this thing is 40-50 hours a week! I would have to apply by September 25th. That would be so exciting for me but I don't know if I am going to be able to. Plus one of my friends is applying too and we could do it together and help each other. She is a very optimistic person and I need that right now.
This weekend I'll be at Frankenmuth/Birch Run with my mom and sisters. It sucks because I have no money but it will be fun to be away. Then after that I'm going to the condo the next weekend. I'm only going for 1 full day so that sucks. I know I'll want to be there longer...
Anyways, the weekend I worked and went to a bbq. Delicious ribs. I never eat them but they are so good.

I am very tired today. I fell asleep watching Shark Week last night. I missed the damn survivor stories again. I dyed my hair brown, I really like it. I didn't tell anyone i was going to. I'd been thinking about it for a while and I almost didn't do it. But then I was like I'll try it. Always can dye it back. I've always had blonde hair. It's a little weird.
I fell asleep briefly at my desk. It's so quiet here and it's not busy. I have to work tonight. Besides that nothing much is going on. Just work. Real exciting. I am so glad the heat wave is gone. I hope it doesn't come back like that.

Power Down

So the Ren Cen has turned off the power, 1/2 the elevators, 1/2 the lights. They are conserving energy since it is so hot. They probably turned off the air too so we can roast in our cubes. Awesome.

So besides the fabulous night at the Necto for our birthdays I was thinking of having a roller skating party. Would anyone be interested? Bring it back to the old school on my 30th :)

Don't really have much to say. I'm sore from the gym.
Going to watch PR tonight.
