Off on a tangent

Nothing much is going on. This week is draggggging, probably because I am excited for the festitivities on Saturday. 2 weekends in a row are going to be a blast! I just have to make through the next 3 days. I have to work at both jobs.
Here is a good one, so we were suppose to have a team meeting on today and lunch would be provided. Yay free lunch. Tuesday we get this email 'lunch will not be provided'. What? Now they can't even afford to get us frickin pizza or something?! I emailed my boss and I was like 'thanks for getting us all excited for free lunch and then smashing our excitement.' He wrote back 'I know, I'm sorry.' Right. It doesn't matter anyways because now our meeting was cancelled and pushed til next Tuesday. First we haven't had one in like 3 months, we haven't ever had our objectives given to us by our boss, no one on ones. Nothing. Everything falls on deaf ears around here. We haven't gotten raises, the one thing they can give us that doesn't cost them a thing, working from home 2 days a week, he took one of days away because 'there are some issues that need to be addressed.' Not with me, with other people that aren't doing their job. Why am I being punished? Shouldn't I just stop doing my job then? If I'm going to get things taken away from me anyways? I talked with him for 20 minutes and all he said was 'hang in there'. Um I've been hanging in there for 5 1/2 years. Nothing has gotten better. I said that to him too. He had nothing to say back really. We've got idiots, not to mention any names, Amoy, the one that used to sit in the DCS row and print every single screen. (You know who I'm talking about Ryan) :) she takes 1 day vacation and has to email us 2 times to make sure we know she is going to be gone. Ok, you don't do anything anyways, so we really don't care if you aren't going to be there! I put my resume in at HDS foodservice but they haven't called me. I'm giving them about 7 days and then I'm going to follow up or assume they weren't interested. It would be so nice to have just 1 job. I was scheduled for 5 days at Panera. 5! part time people part time!
So all I have to look forward to is football games and birthdays. I fell asleep at 9 last night, and only got up to go and get in to bed. I'm going to need it for the coming up days. I originally came on here to talk about something else but now I went off on my job tangent I don't know what it was. So anyways:

GO STATE!!!

Pirate Name

Your pirate name is:
Dirty Mary Kidd
You're the pirate everyone else wants to throw in the ocean -- not to get rid of you, you understand; just to get rid of the smell. Even though you're not always the traditional swaggering gallant, your steadiness and planning make you a fine, reliable pirate. Arr!

Apparently I smell.

Competitive Madness

So we watched the MSU/Notre Dame game on Saturday and MSU almost blew a 21 point lead against them. Jackie and me were jumping up and down, yelling at the TV like a couple of men, except without the beer or the bellies.... Then I get jokingly annoyed when I am told to calm down. Calm down? I love getting all pissed off at my team that has mediocre seasons every year. It's fun and it's what makes fall feel more like fall. I know a lot of people just do not understand but when you grow up in a family filled with sports it is hard not to get involved. So it was finally a relief when MSU ran in to the endzone in overtime to let us win by 3. We need as good of a record as we can get going in to the game in 2 weeks! Then I got a little too drunk and some of things that were said were a little fuzzy. We went to Teddy's, I didn't black out or anything. We were leaving and my ex Jason got there but I didn't really talk to him. He text me to ask where Jackie learned how to dance like that. I told him 'That's how we do it.' Went home and passed out, snoring on the chair. I guess I didn't want to go to bed. I got up at 6 and went in to my room. I had yesterday off, which was nice. Went grocery shopping, out to dinner with my mom and Zac, and then cleaned my dusty dusty room. It took me a long time. I don't feel well today, I am starting to get a cold and my head is all stuffed up. I might have to go to a trainer meeting tonight for Panera, it's cool because I was suppose to work. I'd rather go to CJ Barrymore's although I don't know if we get paid for it. Then I wouldn't like that. Anyways... I'm looking forward to our birthday limo night. It will be different and fun!

Sporatic update

Ok so I'm not too fast with the updating. We went out on Friday night to Teddy's, we (me and Jackie) haven't been there in a long time. They played good music and it wasn't too crowded. We saw the big guy that I see at a lot of bars that likes to hump the floor and shake his ass real fast like he knows how. It's funny. Jackie doesn't remember him, but he was at Tiki Bob's for Sandra's bachelorette party. We also saw Frank, Frank with his hat. He was someone we met over a year ago and Jackie semi-liked. He didn't remember either of our names. It's ok, how could you forget the name 'Frank'. My friend Keri met us up there with her friend and we got Keri out on the dance floor but not the friend. All in all it was fun.
We had to get up early again on Saturday for football. Not as early as last week. The game was 3:30 so we got up at 9. Anna drove the H3 again from Buffalo and stayed at Danielle's. Apparently the tradition is now to watch Fraggle Rock on the Friday before a game. They are 2 for 2... 'Down in Fraggle Rock, chch' We sat and roasted in the sun with no clouds until 3, we all got drunk, where we then went in to the game and roasted there until about 6. Anna, thankfully, made it through the whole game this time. Last week she was so wasted on bloody mary's 100 proof vodka she had to go home in the first quarter. It was a kind of boring game, Luke got to come up for it so it was 4 of the 5 kids. We ended up winning by a lot and there was some fighting in the 4th quarter that riled us up a bit. The next home game is U of M. We are looking forward to it, always hoping that we come away with the win.... GO STATE!
My mom's birthday is tomorrow so I'm taking her out to dinner tonight. Tomorrow I have to work.
