"She will die by the sword"

That is quote from my dad when I called him last night, crying, about work. It has been a hellish past week and 1/2 here. The big B, or 'hulk' as some like to call her has been a complete ass. There have been rumors of people telling her that she needs to check with HR if I can work a second job. Um I've worked there for 2.5 years and gone through 3 managers with that, no problems up until now. Am I not doing my job? No that isn't the problem, the problem is an insecure bizatch, or 'fat bitch' as my dad said who probably is jeolous that I'm actually losing weight and feeling better about myself. He said what I expected him to say, 'make sure it is the right time to quit, it is almost over, you are above that, keep doing your job well and you will be fine.' And I am keeping it all business.

Besides that, things are going fine. I had fun with my sister. We just hung out, she made homemade dough and we made vegetable pizza and watched Grey's Anatomy. We went to BW3's and watched the debacle of the MSU game and left before 1/2time and found out later it was the biggest comeback in NCAA division 1 football for them to pull out a victory. We went to Victoria secret and spent $165, well I didn't, she did because she wanted a free bag. She bought me a bra though, so I was cool with that. Went to Red Lobster ate 3 biscuits and a steak. Yum, then we went home and watched the Tigers while falling asleep. We didn't go out and we were fine with that. Friday night we had made Smirnoff raspberry and raspberry juice and it was so delicious, I got drunk and could not even taste the vodka. Overall it was a good relaxing weekend only to come in here to this shit. This weekend I have a wedding to go to all day Saturday and probably in to the night. It should be fun. Then we got the last 2 home games left before it starts to be holiday season again.

Probably should get back to the grind although it doesn't really matter if I do a good job, it is always thought that we 'are trying to get away with something.' Like we are in fucking high school? Whatever!

Buttery popcorn

I had a good birthday. I worked from home, went to the gym, got my hair cut and colored, and went to Mongolian bbq with my mom, dad, danielle and jackie. I also went to the Secretary of State where come to find out they moved it so I had to go to a different one but once I got there it only took like 5 minutes. Dinner was really good, then we watched the Tigers, ANTM and PR. I fell asleep, I was so tired. My mom and Anna got me 3 months worth of ww, I was very excited about that. And I got a cutting board, knives, silverware and a cookie cooling rack. All stuff on my list. Oh also popcorn and Captain's :) Can't go wrong with that! I probably went over my points last night but not by much. I pretty much starved myself all day so that I could not feel bad about eating. Then we got the big brownie sundae for dessert and come to find out it is 35 points!! Holy crap! But we all ate out of it so it couldn't be that bad... I'm going to the gym today too, I went for a walk earlier. Turning 30 is just like any other birthday, you just aren't in your 20's anymore. Anyways, it is taking me a while to finish this so I gotta go. Someone just made popcorn and it smells SO good.

"I expect the officials to get it right."

That was a quote by MSU football coach on why he didn't challenge a touchdown on Saturday. MSU lost 31 to 13 to UofM, not that we weren't expecting it but that was the first one of the game and it wasn't a touchdown so it might have changed the flow. Saturday was quite fun. I went with Darren to Ann Arbor, Dave and his parents came and my cousin, Aaron and his friends. We tailgated at Darren's uncles RV and they just hook it up. Deep fryer, drinks, bathroom, TV, whatever. We went back and forth from there to Dave's. I brought my cousin back to get a drink and he never left the RV. It was funny. We went without tickets and we could have bought them for $59 a piece which was face value but we didn't want to do that so we went up to the stadium around game time and there were a lot of people scalping but they were trying to get face or more. One guy goes '$120 each.' What!?? Ya right! The guys that came up to him after were cops and they busted him. He goes 'Do I at least get my tickets back?' They were like 'NO.' Duh! Haha. So we went back to the RV, where my cousin was still eating and we watched it on the TV in there. Then we caught the end of the Tigers game too. We went back and hung out with Dave and his parents and it was fun no one seemed upset that MSU lost, we just hope it is another nail in Smith's coffin.
Sunday I slept til noon and then got up and I had to go to work. I was in a daze most of the day. I drank all day Saturday but I was never wasted. I was just tired yesterday. I work both jobs today and tomorrow. Then I have to go and get my tabs renewed on Wednesday. Yippee. Maybe I should do some work...

The collapse

The guy that is sitting next to me got french fries for lunch!! arg! I want some. But I won't have any. So Friday was fun, besides the plumber saying it would be $270 to snake a pipe. We definately declined that. Then we went to my parents at like 3pm and I cleaned and we went to Kroger. My parents came home and we got pizza from Hungry Howie's, it felt just like old times at the Winkler's. Pizza on a Friday night. Yum. Then we made the veggie pizza. Stace, Julie, John, Steve R., Luke, us, and my parents hung out and had drinks and ate. Then Jessica, Anna, Mike and Darcy got there around 9 and we got ready to leave. We all are getting ready to go to the cars and someone goes 'now who knows how to get there?' I had been there but not for like 10 years! (I am continuing from yesterday, I got busy). Anna bought me a fish bowl and I drank that all night. Along with another drink and 2 shots. So I was pretty drunk. We left apparently at like 12:45. I thought it was later. I had to get up early and go to East Lansing. I woke up at 8 but I didn't actually leave my parents until 9:30. I was moving really slow. Went to the game only to watch them lose against the worst team in the Big Ten, it was awesome. Then we went back to Danielles, went out to eat with Jamie and went back and watched football and fell asleep early. Sunday we went to the Tigers game. Another losing day. It went in to 12 innings but we left after the 9th, I was starving and I just wanted to be home. I mowed the lawn, made dinner and watched TV. It was good. And of course it is raining again, we rarely have a day that it doesn't rain here anymore. I am really tired and it is still dark out.

And I swear I work with the most incapable people at the P. Not everyone, but it only takes a couple to make the day worse. It's like they wander around going 'duh, what should I do?' So then I turn into 'manager Sarah' as I've been called and start shouting out orders. Ok, I don't shout them out. But it isn't like I'm not doing everything they are doing also so I'm not bossing them around, I just don't want to be there until 10:30 every night!! For example, in bakery I was down helping close and there are crumbs everywhere on every surface and this girl starts sweeping. I'm like what are you doing? You have to wait until the shelves are brushed off or you are going to have sweep again. Duh, common sense!! It has gotten worse. Every day people call off and they don't know how to deal with it because if they just fired them then we wouldn't have enough people. New people are doing it too and when they do it, then they get let go. Anyways, I went off on a tangent for a minute. We have the pink ribbon bagel right now, for anyone that wants to buy some, they donate money to breast cancer when they are bought.
