PJ happenings

The weekend was quite interesting. Friday I went to Kohl's to find pj's for the Channel 955 pj party. I found some cute ones and went home to get ready. Jessica met me at my house and we went to get liquor and stopped at McD's, I didn't get any because I hadn't gotten my money out yet, which later proves to be my downfall. We went downriver where we met Anna, Jacque and Anastasia. We had got a hotel room at the hotel the party was at. We had brought our own liquor to do some pre-partying. We all got dolled up and ready to go to the party. On our way down there were some boys in a room and they were talking to us and one of them ended up being CHAD, he was the stripper that was at both Beckii and Sandra's bachelorette parties. I never liked him. It was set up cool, they had a bed when you walked in and you could get your picture taken on it so we did that. Then they had free massages and psychic readings and you could get your hair done. In the ballroom they had 2 cages and stripper poles and a bar, the bar sucked, it was expensive and didn't have much variety. I thought there would be food but none was set out...I was like I'm going back to the room to have a drink, I was starting to get drunk, I hadn't eaten, I've lost 50 pounds, I apparently don't know my tolerance anymore. Pretty soon I was making drunk phone calls. And leaving hilarious messages, from what I'm told. I remember a little. I remember going back to the party and seeing Spike and talking to him, Ani and Jacque were waiting in line for the psychic and it was taking FOREVER, I lost interest and wandered off. The next thing I remember is waking up at 5 am. I woke up because Jessica was knocking on the door. One of those 'oh my gosh no one is ever going to hear me sort of knocks'. I was like where the hell am I and did I just pass out?! Yes, I missed almost the whole damn party!!! But man did I hear some good stories (not about me, because I seriously missed everything) Everyone made out with someone, people were propositioned to have sex in the bathroom, post parties etc. I was very annoyed with myself! But at least I didn't do anything stupid. I don't remember washing my face, brushing my teeth, taking out my contacts but apparently I did all those things.

Saturday morning we went to breakfast. Mine was delicious, I know Jessica does not like Bob Evans but mmm mine was good. Then I had to go home and get ready to get my hair done. I got it cut and colored, then I met my mom for shopping. We shopped for a long time. She bought me some clothes, I was very excited. I got home about 7 and then went to Outback to eat. Got home about 10 and then we watched The Prestige, I was exhausted. I never got a chance to rest. Sunday I had to work from 2-close. It was not too busy and we had a good manager closing.

I'm looking forward to this weekend, where I am not going to drink as much but have more fun! I'm going to the bar on Friday and Saturday is Anna's housewarming so we have to make the deserts. We are making peanut butter balls, toffee bars and cupcakes. And the greek pasta salad. Yummo!

Patty Fun

Alright, I'm changing my post. I hadn't been in a great mood for the past 2 weeks so I didn't want to spread my bad charm. I had a fun weekend. Friday I stayed downtown and met my dad and brother for the MSU hockey game. I decided to ride the people mover over to the Joe. I was sitting there and these 2 young boys ran and jumped on. The doors started closing and all of sudden the guy they were with was running trying to get on the mover. The doors closed as he tried to make it. It was in slow motion. They obviously ran ahead of him, not thinking that the doors would close. So then they were just sitting there. I was like 'um was that your dad?' 'Yes'. 'Are you going to stay on and go back?' He was convinced that he would just get the next train. They were also going to the game. So I decided that if they got off at the Joe then I would stay with them until their dad got there. 1/2 way there a cop came on and go 'trevor and nick?' They were just sitting there, I'm like 'hey is that you??!' They were like oh ya. Their dad had gotten in touch with security and so they took them off the people mover. It was entertaining.
More so than the hockey game where we lost 5 to 2. And my dad was buying drinks but I had to weigh in on Saturday so I didn't drink anything! I got home a little after 11 and went to bed. I had a busy day Saturday.

I woke up, went to ww at 8:30. Then I worked from 10-5. Went home and got ready to go meet the group. I had to hang out with the puppies for bit because I had been gone all day. I made myself a drink, I was actually very relaxed. I curled my hair, put my shamrock on my face and put on a shirt that hasn't fit me in a while, I was feeling good. I was a little wary because I knew that I was going to have to drive. How long ago did we learn that drinking and driving was not a good idea? Ya. Auggie's was fun, they had really cheap food! Jessica had her green coins, we had hats and blowers. Then I watched MSU lose in basketball, they put forth a really good effort.

I ended up leaving around 11. Then my friends Dina and Malcolm were going out for his birthday and wanted me to meet them. I haven't seen them in like 6 months so I was like ok. Still afraid of the driving...I went to Emerald. One of our other friends was there too and we just hung out and had a few drinks. I ended up having one of them drive my car home. I wasn't wasted or anything but better safe than sorry. Then I thought it would be a good idea to drink when I got home. I didn't go to bed until 5 in the morning and I had to work yesterday and be there late because we had a bread bash. It was not a good day! I didn't get home until almost 11 last night. So anyways, that was the weekend.
